Ceramics
In 2017, Pola Dwurnik created the installation titled Langwidere Series: Women Artists. It consisted of 66 hand-painted, glazed porcelain figurines depicting various women artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. The figurines, divided into two sets, were exhibited in two mirrored glass wooden display cabinets.
All the original models for the molds were made by the artist in modeling clay. The fine bone china figurines were produced with the help of Olga Milczyńska at her ceramics studio in Warsaw. They were all hand-painted by Pola Dwurnik. Each one is unique and portrays a different woman artist.
The installation was exhibited at Galerie Idea-Fixa in Basel, Switzerland, from 5 May to 1 July 2017.
All the figurines were purchased by a private Basel-based collector later that same year.
