Once again, Pola Dwurnik’s artwork has been featured on the cover of a poetry volume by the distinguished Polish poet and Nobel Prize laureate (1980), Czesław Miłosz. This time, it is the reissue of “King Popiel and Other Poems” (“Król Popiel i inne wiersze”) published by Wydawnictwo ZNAK. The publisher selected Dwurnik’s painting “Hidden” (“Ukryty”, 2023, oil on canvas, 100 × 73 cm) for the book’s cover.
In 2024, another painting by Pola Dwurnik, “Lion and Lioness” (2016), appeared on the cover of “Rescue” (“Ocalenie”), also published by Wydawnictwo ZNAK as part of the same Czesław Miłosz poetry series.
The artist extends her heartfelt thanks to Justyna Tomska and Dorota Gruszka of Wydawnictwo ZNAK for their continued trust and support.
